Oceans of Hope|
Oceans of Hope is a Sailing Sclerosis Foundation project that aims to change the perception of multiple sclerosis (MS), inspiring people with the disease to overcome their own personal challenges by telling the stories of those taking part in the first ever circumnavigation by a yacht crewed by people with MS.
In Darwin we met our friend Andrew Potter who was part of the crew of Oceans of Hope from New Zealand to Darwin. Andrew is MS-Australia’s National Advocacy Coordinator. On this leg across the Tasman Sea the whole crew proved that also with MS you can take the challenge of sailing with winds up to 50 knots and seas up to 12 meters.
